big ups man! keep doing your thing. music is a rabbit hole that you can get lost in so enjoy the trip! if you're going to do the home studio thing, i recommend a mac, m-audio, $99 condenser mic, some monitor quality headphones or speakers, and a controller (not MIDI, just usb should do fine... check out korg keyboards). for software, check out reason and logic pro (or pro tools) i have all these things and making a song with high quality sound is easy and fast.
