I'm sorry to hear all that man. That's terrible. But the fact of the matter is still while what she did may have been wrong and maybe even demented. She didn't take a life. And the child wasn't maimed or paralyzed in any way. It doesn't deserve life in prison. It just doesn't. If someone did that to my child would I kill them? Most likely. But it's still not just. And that's my child. The court system, prosecutor, or judge had no reason to give her life in prison. They were not doing their job and upholding the law. That's my problem with this. does she deserve jail time? yes. 99 years? naw man...naw. I can't be alright with people just handing out centuries in a cell.
