2 Chainz - Based On A T.R.U. Story (2012)

I've heard worse, but what's the hype w this guy? Really has a poor flow, generally useless lyrics, essentially thoughtless songs w some good beats. I guess I don't see why the hype machine has gotten so big w this less-than-average WAN

I mean... Really? Kanye got on a song thats based around the verse "all I want for my birthday is a big b00ty ho"? Guess its a tribute to kanyes blazing female

Album hyped up! Not as good as I thought it was gonna be. Nice beat selection though!

my opinion is completely unbiased.. ive never listened to 2 Chainz before unless he had a cameo on another persons album.. im not an automatic hater like some of these cats, so here's what i think...

if it wasnt for the songs about/for the !!es this would be a solid album.... but the tracks with The Dream, Mike Posner, Chris Brown, Dolla Boy & Capt 1 all !!ing suck.... and Nicki Minaj continues her tour of !!ty cameos with yet another !! appearance.... but when he gets down to his gangster !! and raps hard he has a lot of solid tracks too, like Yuck, Crack, Dope Peddler and I'm Different.. so i gave the album a 3 because it's half of a solid album.

Based On A T.R.U. Story was hot garbage. I would rather listen to the Ca$h Out mixtape that I've deleted months ago.

ill give this a 2/5. i !!ed with ghetto dreams/stop me now and yuck is tough if only for the instrumental. everything else ranged from below average to the worst song of 2012[countdown]

Solid album. Good ignant summer time sh!t. You don' t listen to 2 Chainz for some introspective Nas type lyrics. You check the homie when you want that trap music and bass. Producition wise this is one of the best records of the year.

4/5.... Everything doesnt have to be Nas type lyrical !!.... This is a good album to drink or smoke to and it's great to bump in the whip. He's got some clever lines thrown in throughout. It's ok to like like lyrical !! and 2chainz type !!, music is supposed to be diverse. I think this is a solid album... Only songs I really skip when riding to this are Love Dem Stripper(Nikki sounds garbage) and Wut We Doin. Oh yah and Extremely Blessed beat wooooo bumps so hard might knock a house over when I'm driving by

Crack, Dope Peddler, No Lie, Bday Song, im Different, Extremely Blessed, Money Machine, In town, Ghetto Dreams, and Riot is all I can stand. Give it a 3 because I HATE the rest.
