Lyrical means that what youre saying in your rhymes has more to it that just rhyming and trying to have a "tight Flow" lyricism is the art of using your words to paint a vision

Lyrical: Immortal Technique
Not Lyrical: Birdman (dude is !!ing garbage, gawt DAYUM!)

Rap is an art, and with art you are telling your side of the story with vision. But you don't have physical vision, so you have to use mental and spiritual vision with your words. (If anybody is a good freestyler, you'll know what I mean when I say spiritual vision.) You are able to create a picture with your words.
