Yelawolf’s Debut LP Pushed Back to October 25

Yelawolf is almost ready to release his Radioactive material to the masses, but it will be a lil later than originally planned.

The Alabama upstart announced this morning (August 18) that his debut album, Radioactive, arriving on Ghet-O-Vision/Shady Records/Interscope, will be made available October 25, and not September 27 (the same day as fellow XXL Freshman J. Cole and Big K.R.I.T.) as originally reported.

“Radioactive is the fall out of my life’s inspirations, a testament to my ability to survive it all and to tell the story,” the XXL Freshman said. “Sometimes I want to party, sometimes I want to fight and sometimes I want to cry. I’m human and this album is as honest as it gets.”

“We are very eager for the world to hear Radioactive and proud to be presenting the album on Shady Records,” said Eminem. “Yelawolf is a true original and he has crafted an incredible record.”

Yela is winding down from his appearances on The Vans Warped Tour, and riding the momentum of his single, “Hard White (Up In The Club),” featuring Lil Jon and produced by Hydrox, which he’s currently shooting a video for. Other beats on the album were provided by SupaHotBeats, the J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, The Audibles, and Diplo.

Radioactive will be on sale October 25.

he has that Eminem connect he needs to use it, it makes more sense here than ever since Country Red Neck white folk love Em and that's pretty much Yelawolf's demographic. Too bad he never had time to get on Recovery, that plus releasing a Em ft. Yelawolf joint as a single would've helped him alot.
