currensy drops way too many mixtapes a year to make this a habit

!!....i was really excited to listen to this tonight

why the !! would they wait until the day of to make this announcement...

this won't be dropping anytime soon....

people getting sued over mixtapes is nothing new

in the past lawyers would just eat those !!s up

smh... this has to be cause of wiz involvement wit the project... !!in wit the majors is a whole nother ballgame.

i dont even know what this project is

and if thats the case they are performing all songs that are out already

so they could be sued regardless over those songs..

In the past everything an artist did wasnt under a microscope unless they were on jay/50/wayne type level. Nobody was getting sued over samples on mixtapes cause mixtapes weren't even looked at as profitable....

And if someone did take action most the time it was a cease and desist letter.. and they pulled the plug and thats about as far as it went.

I guess technically you can be sued by somebody using their samples and performing them for profit.

Its funny situation to me because artist put out free music with all type of samples all the time.

I always felt as long as they are not selling the music then its ok but if you performing the song its really the same thing in a way.

The game might be changing people are catching up to the mixtape game and how it is still profitable to an artist still without putting out physical copies.
