Why is Stalley With MMG?

His style is clearly cut different from theirs.. He seems like he's 1 of those artist that should be solo cuz his style is just him and him alone... Doesn't go good with a group at all... Listening to his mixtapes you would never think he's with MMG.. What do yall think?

ross was just trying to diversify (look at GOOD music's roster, they have various types of artists)

signing with MMG was a good look for stalley in regards to exposure but i agree.. he's different from them. meek, ross, and wale are all about their bragging !!

ive Been Wondering The Same About Stalley And MMG To, At First It Was A Dope Look For Stalley And Ross But After A Couple Songs/Compilations I Dont Think He Fits Very Well At All I Dont Think He Should Of Been On "Ten Jesus Pieces" Either

Stalley will probably make more of that theme song for First take than he will on his album. I'm not saying its all about money but in this shady music business where you got work your[..] off $ is the objective

He adds something different to the roster but I think there are a couple of links missing between him and Wale's niche. Maybe Nipsey would be a nice fit.

Stalley has that "conscious" style. Ross will specifically pick artists for variance. They same way he picked wale cause of his "raw", "poetic" type style. And stalley didnt even have to compromise his material signing to ross either. He sounds the exact same which is a good thing. Thats how you know ross not putting these dudes on a leash and hes atleast trying to do right by them. At the end of the day, its about that money. Like the other dude said, stalley getting all kinds of checks and deals such as nike,etc without even being big and none of this would have happened if he never signed to mmg. I think stalley is fine where he is. I dont think he wants to be that mainstream anyway. He just wants to make good music and get money. I wanna see stalley, rockie and wale do tracks together. !! would be dope.Hopefully when they reveal that nipsey signed to mmg(supposedly) , there will be colabs with him and stalley as well.
