yall always !!in about lyricism and who's lyrical and whatnot, here's a news flash: G Rap is more lyrical than Lupe, Kid Cudi, J. Cole, Kanye, Drake, and the rest of these frootie booties that you nerds listen to. He's been spitting multi-syllabic rhymes with the most ruthless flows since before most of those other dudes were born.

so why don't you listen to him?

The only thing I can think of is that you can't relate to him, because he doesn't rap about skateboarding and comic books, and dragons, and being emotional and lonely, and about what it was like to grow up as a child star on Canada's number-one teen television drama.

and thats cool. if you want to be a nerd, be a nerd. but don't pretend that there's no such thing as street music that's still lyrical, cause when it comes to lyricism G Rap !!s all over yall weak rappers.

Simple, he's older....you can't introduce a nicca that's 41 to a kid that's 17-23 and expect him to understand it...[pic]

In this recent work he did, shows he is wide awake to what's going on, listen closely to his lyrics, you might learn something.

when Jay first came out, I thought he was corny like most people...if he didn't make the moves he made in business/music, he would probably be in the same arena as Kool G Rap...I'm not saying Kool G Rap is corny but he doesn't have the commercial success like Jay that will keep his name mentioned amongst a wide age range....for example, A LOT of niccaz that smoke weed will say they love Devin the dude....I'll always know his music because we have a common theme....most people that are 30+ will completely agree with you about Kool G Rap because that was the "Devin the Dude" of their time
