none of these rappers live what they rap about.
if that was the case they would all be in the same position as boosie. nobody gets at gibbs for having a cop father and being in the army. he never denied that sh!t

Says who?? I never knew there were guidelines when it came to music... I just thought it was a form of self expression.

So If somebody wants to express their love for their clothes,cars, !!es then thats their choice.. whether they're 18 or 38.


And of course the content is different hiphop came from THE STREETS. Kids for the most part that came from broken homes and !!ed up situations. Rock came from kids from the burbs that wanted to rebel against their parents and society... two totally different ways of life.

So if a man goes his whole life without havin !!... and he happens get rich from his music.. then why the !! would he not be excited and rap about it??

how come this is only a issue in the hip hop genre?

I mean if the rapper is over 30 and still acts like hes 17(2 chainz) then there seems to be a problem imo

but I mean they get mad because rappers like nas, jay, and ice cube are not trying to relate to their fads like "I got this and that" anymore but are on a "listen here youngin, sit down so I can teach ya[..] something" and these kids get mad at that ish

I'm actually looking forward to finding out who's going to be the "Johnny Cash of rap" so to speak. Can you imagine a Nas or an Eminem at 50 years old rapping introspectively about old man !!. When I'm in my 50's I'm still going to want to listen to hip-hop. Yeah I'm still gonna listen to young niccas like I do now, but I'm still gonna wanna hear some hip-hop !! that I can relate to as an old man too.

exactly niccas are writing old rappers off and telling them to stop rapping like we wont eventually get old ourselves. we need music that we can relate to when we are not partying.
