been listenin through my collection and that question jus popped into my head ^^^^^

why can't they? i think its cos when they comin out they're mad hungry and wanna make a impact in the game and then after they get their cheques they like 'fuck it'!!!

examples

fab - ghetto fab
nelly - country grammar (know its nelly, but it was good)
nas - illmatic
50 - grotd

jus to name a few, y'all got any??

no it ain't da case for all rappers (luda - word of mouf) but def most!!!

Are u serious bout Nas? It Was Written was a classic too! Not like Illmatic but still though! But I agree with u on 50 and Fab.

Ja Rule is another one along with Bow Wow(what the fuck am i sayin he doesn't count!)

Nas has great albums after his first drop so he doesn't count. If you listen 50 his first album you must say he soesn't changes that much he was already wack.

I agree in a big way with that. For me It Was Written is Nas's second best album, also a classic.

Other artist that I think bombed on their second joints are:
Snoop
Jigga
Nature
I know there are more...
