niccas in this thread bull!!tin' like a mah!!a. [pic]

Like, It's okay if you aint !! with an artist til they were popular. You ain't had to be !!ing with the nicca from Jump street.

Maybe it's an up north thing. But I remember before Carter I, if you said you listened to Lil' Wayne, niccas would look at you like [pic] . And even when Carter I dropped most niccas was like [pic] (With the exception of "I Miss My Dawgs" and "BMJR"

Wasn't til Carter II, Mayor of the South, and Dedication, that niccas was REALLY !!ing with Wayne openly and heavily (and that was like 2006)

--

I hope the niccas in here claiming they was !!ing with Wayne heavy round TBIH is older cats. Cuz from what I see, most of Wayne's current fans are around 16 years old, and TBIH came out in 99 (13 years ago) [pic] .

Lets be for real here..

It's funny that you say that. I was like 4 or 5 when I got hooked onto Cash Money in 96/97. I was always into rap like that. I could analyze that !! like any grown person, too.

Sometime in 2005. I remember one of the homies had a song on a mix cd with wayne and bobby valentino lol. Forget what it's called, but waynes verse was heat. Grabbed C2 shortly after that outta curiosity. Had no idea how good it was going to be. Started divin' into the mixtapes a while after that. was a pretty big fan up until around 08. Dudes complete trash now though...lol

I got Lights Out and Lil Bow Wow's first cd the same day. It was a Saturday in December. The year was 2000. I miss when my mom and I would take trips to the music store. I still remember when I got Silk The Shocker's, my world, my way. My cousin being a !! and trying to make my granny hear "That's Cool". And he was like, "He's listening to this wild stuff." I was 8 and my cousin was 11, I was like !! you !!, you listen to the same !!. You just mad that I get these cassettes on a weekly basis.

Heard about wayne on juve's and bgs album and heard him on bling bling, even when he was on that track for the Motion Picture Hardball starring Keanu Reeves. But didn't really listen to dude until he dropped Tha Carter. Bring It Back and This Is The Carter(ft.Mannie Fresh) will forever represent my early teenage years [pic]

80% of the wayne fans hopped on the bandwagon after the carter 2.

And there's a difference between knowing a dude and actually checking for his music and being a fan.

His verse on Run 4 It off 400 Degreez. Then they started to re-release the old Cash Money albums, and my interest grew even more. Lights Out made him one of my fav rappers
