Whats "Exxxes" by Joe Budden about?

I know the average listener would[..]ume its about a broad. Is he talking about his depression??? or drugs?? Anyone clarify

The broad is a metaphor for his insane mind driving him crazy I guess. I really dont know even though I been listening to the song over and over, it might be my fav on the album.

I believe it's for his depression. I was thinking drugs at first, especially since Budden himself said he !!s with Vicodins and Opiates are one !!ed up drug, but he has made songs about his depression in the past, and referred to it as an individual.

I agree but nicotine is a !! lol. He has a song or too where he mentions his Vicodin usage or something, so I think it'd be about that IF it were about drugs. If I had to guess though, I'd say depression. He's pretty vocal about it.

Exxes is actually Joe portraying himself as the female the whole time and how he acted while depressed and then how he coped with it. If you listen to the lyrics he says: "niccas tried to tell me her head was insane"

It's actually his head that's insane and he's going back and forth with himself trying to deal with it.

Then the first verse really personifies the concept where you can see he is talking about himself the whole time. Once you listen to the song and understand that it's Joe dealing with his depression or bi-polarness you will have a whole new understanding and revelation to the song.
