I thought this album was going to be a 2/10, exceeded my expectations and I gave it a 7/7.5. Wasn't a classic but it was still good. I wasn't moved by it or anything because right now im finally giving "The Greatest Story Never Told" a listen but still, good album

Initial reactions after just one listen:

Our House is dope as hell...Em spazzed. [pic]
Not feeling the Coffin beat/hook and the bars aren't great either...
Throw That is wack. Sounds like the !!ty singles Em released on Encore.
Hammer Dance has been my !! since February and it's STILL my !!. So dope.
Never liked My Life, still don't.
Flip a Bird... Love the beat, love the hook, love the concept, love the bars. [pic]
Throw It Away...Swizz is annoying but the song is alright for what it's trying to be. [pic]
Rescue Me...Dope. They always knock these personal tracks outta the park and the beat and hook are both solid.
Frat House...Could have been a dope single. I dig this. Completely agree with the others saying this sounds like The One pt. 2. I have yet to be disappointed by Joey and Ortiz trading bars; I still bump Warfare.

This album is really picking up btw...

Goodbye...Have enjoyed this track since it leaked a couple of weeks ago.
Park It Sideways...Crook loves those Iverson crossing Jordan punches. This is a smooth track. Not great but good.
Die...Royce spazzed the !! out [pic] Favorite track on the album so far.
Our Way is solid but nothing more and no verse jumps out at me after one listen.

The Bonus tracks aren't great..

Asylum...Expecting a Cuckoo part 2...not feeling it as much as the original honestly. Not loving the Em hook. Beats alright. Bars were nothing special.
Walk of Shame...pretty forgettable, couldn't wait for it to end.
The Other Side....so far these bonus tracks should have been left off the album.
Place to Be...Pretty good track surprisingly.


Verdict. It's alright and what I expected (7/10). The dope songs are very dope and the songs with heavy Shady influence are forgettable. I don't blame them for going this direction. There has to be a medium between their debut album and this. If they ever figure that out they'll make a classic. The mixtape was very good and after I combine the best songs from both I'll have an awesome 20ish track tape to bump. [pic]

first half of the album is pretty damn weak. so as it sits its at a 2.5/5 right now. I had to take a break b.c I started losing interest. Hopefully the second half reels me in

dudes are !!ting on this album like they were expecting a classic or something. people were thinking SH were "saving hip hop", etc. I didn't and I got a good, 7.5/10 album out of it

exactly and Em is to blame for it. Well Slaughterhouse too since they allow him to have so much control. This album should have been filled with track the quality of "die"
