Why didn't em spit on asylum? I was disapointed that was an em murk type track

How dare Eminem say hip-hop needs THIS, after Nas dropped what hip-hop really needed already?

Half these songs were too "pop" sounding. The other half were straight.

Eminem went from using that stupid accent in every song to now overdoing the "Skylar Grey sound" on almost every song. I'll just take all the good songs from the album and the good songs from the mixtape and make that the album.

Mixtape > Album

Hopefully this album will get a lot of backlash so that Em will stop giving his input on Slaughterhouse projects. He said he was personally overseeing it and being hands on with this album and look how it turned out. Less Eminem involvement would be the best thing for SH.

Anybody else think this sound like a d12 album?

i'd say a majority of individuals can't rate music well. that's why the majority shouldn't be allowed to do so.... i was agreeing with his[..]ertion. Classic has become destroyed... it's used to describe anything that's good. and good? that's lost it's meaning too.

I agree with you that people on here use classic too loosely, but good? Only if you consider albums like Based on a T.R.U Story "good" because it had "3-4 bangers" on it. Hip Hop Is Dead is good, Welcome To Our House is good, etc.

Eminem completely destroyed the groups sound.... Eminem has always been a dope lyricst, but his beat selection has always been[..] cheeks. As for Asylum I swore I was listening to a D-12 track....

I got pretty much what I expected after hearing the singles. Been a big SH fan since they formed, & I optimistically thought the move to EM's label would bring the best outta them (at first). It works on paper, but it just ain't a good mix. Few great tracks that I'll keep on an otherwise very forgettable album. Can't see this !! gettin' much burn even in the next week.

I know right? How dare he promote an album from his label! He should have just said, "Yeah, the album is pretty average" that would have really gave people hope!
