Those were Frank Lucas' words, not mine. Like I said in my 1st post, the mayor and governor of NY attended Bumpy's funeral. Name another gangster on that list who can or will be able to say that?
You probably don't know what Frank meant when he said Bump was the last real black gangster of NY. Frank's definition is probably completely different than what you think a gangster is. Bumpy had the whole black community behind him. He wasn't just a drug dealer like the rest of them. He took on the cops, the irish mob, italian mob, jewish mob, etc. Those other dudes on that list weren't Bumpy. Bumpy helped dudes escape from Alcatraz. They threw Bumpy a parade in Harlem when he came home. Those other dudes weren't on that level. Bumpy was a mob boss. Those other dudes were druglords. There's a big difference.
