Hulk said that Vito had blood coming down the side of his head after he hit him. Hulk has no reason to lie to Howard about that. Hulk does not need to prove his manhood and make up stories to Howard about guys he beat up. Especially since Howard is Bubba's boss, and Bubba is one of Hulk's best friends.
