Last time he dropped a single, Kanye announced Hollywood’s newest power couple, turning the Internet upside down with one record. He sparked endless memes, tweets, Facebook statuses, and even launched the career of a certain promising music critic. It’s been years since one artist has turned every new song into a week long event, not to mention there isn’t another artist pushing the creative boundaries of Hip-Hop with every album. And with “New God Flow” leading the way, Kanye’s and the G.O.O.D. Music crew will probably be capping off a Cruel Summer in style.

And so, for today’s edition of QoTD we ask, is Kanye West the current king of rap? If not, then who?

Wayne and Eminem are the face of hiphop no matter if you like it or not the numbers and hits speak for themselves

Last I checked Wayne still pushing the most numbers besides the whiteboy. So No. He's Top Tier tho as far as popularity is concerned.
