It's not about being cool its marketing. Artwork will make the fans feel like it's official over a nicca just saying "my !! coming". And for sites that don't handle audio files the pic can spread on them and get people to look for the song that wouldn't have without seeing the artwork. Which is why these niccas always dropping these horrid[..] single artwork pics.
