Oct 30 - Beanie Airs Jay-Z Out On Philly Radio

Beanie Sigel called into Philadelphia radio station 100.3 The Beat this morning (October 30), where he discussed a controversial new track in which he disses Jay-Z.



Sigel expresses his frustration with Jay-Z on the track, because of lines on Jay’s Blueprint 3, as well as the handling of Sigel’s career after a prison stint in 2004, as Roc-A-Fella Records was breaking up.



This morning, Philadelphia rapper called into Charlamagne Tha God’s Morning Show and explained his motivation for releasing the record in detail.



Sigel claimed that several lines on Jay-Z’s song “Already” were the catalyst for the shocking diss record in addition to this treatment at Power 99’s Powerhouse concert last weekend, which Jay-Z headlined.



Additionally, the “Broad Street Bully” revealed that he felt slighted for not being included on Jay-Z’s Blueprint 3 album.



Sigel also reiterated his claims that Jigga abandoned Roc-A-Fella rap group State Property, which featured group members Freeway, Peedi Peedi, Oschino, Omillio Sparks, and the Young Gunz (Young Chris and Neef ).



“Jay in another place and I understand that. He did what he did as far as signing people to Roc-A-Fella Records, you did that,” Sigel told Charlamagne Tha God. “But as far as the push that people coulda got that really could have did things, you didn’t do that. If you look at 50 Cent - no disrespect to the G-Unit, cause I love the way 50 Cent did with his dogs - but if you look at it, them dudes got more money and more bread than anybody in State Property. Because 50 made sure of that. 50 took his people on tour and paid them, not tell them it was a good look for them to be on tour.”



Sigel claimed that life on Roc-A-Fella Records was not glamour and glitz, despite State Property’s output for Roc-A-Fella.



Collectively, or individually the Philadelphia group released hit records like “Feel It In the Air” (Beanie Sigel), “Roc the Mic” (Freeway) and “Can‘t Stop, Won‘t Stop” (Young Gunz) in addition to starring in two State Property movies and a State Property clothing line, which was sold in major department stores.



“The clothing line and all that came about cause Dame did that. Dame gave me the clothing line. I got the Pro-Keds thing that came from a situation that I did, but then Dame back doored the sneak and gets with the licensee guy who licenses Rocawear and buys the license out the Pro-Keds, without me knowing it,” Sigel said. “So now I am not getting 50 % profit that I would be getting off every Pro-Ked sneaker sold with the SP logo on it like the original deal was... As a team player, why just wear the Pro-Keds when I can cross-market it and have my own sneaker? Then Dame stopped making Pro-Keds with the SP symbol on it.”



Beanie Sigel revealed that he has not had a conversation with Jay-Z in over two years and that Dame Dash’s reckless spending was the reason for Roc-A-Fella’s demise.

Seriously though, Jay-Z been draggin Beanie's weight for atleast 10 years now. At some point as a f**kin artist you need to evolve with the new rap game or step aside.. It's a f**kin business.

50 making sure Yayo and Banks eat is because they are apart of G-Unit.. Last time I checked Hov wasn't in a rap group.. Not to mention didn't Jay-Z buy Beans a new Bentley a while back? Niggas want to stay leeches forever, instead of branching out and making their own moves. Hov BEEN put Beans in the limelight, but he failed to grasp and hold on too it.. I swear niggas would rather ben spoon fed than go out and get their own.

For real, for real, regardless of what many of you wanna say lets keep it 100, if u played for the Lakers, and got rings and trophies that show greatness, how would u feel if Kobe just decided that there was never gonna be a "Lakers" team again? If u came in the locker room and the gym said Kobe and not the Lakers???? Yes b/c Hov clearly just turned him back on the whole squad. If he didn't, then y is that all of state property is coming out with records that clearly are talking about how they came to the studio and Roc-a-fella had just disappeared over night like the Baltimore Colts.

You are right Kanye is a prime example he stands on his own, can support himself and change his style as people change but a lot of cats don't want to change and adapt so they get left behind upset cause people don't want to take care of them.

This is the error that 99% of these dudes make. They expect for Jigga/Em/Dre/Etc. to hand feed these dudes forever.

Why does Gunit have more money than State Property...He didnt save my career when the label broke up...He aint put me on his record

Jay-Z already made the nigga LARGE in the game, nigga need to do his own thing stop leeching, You can't really talk all that BS on your records then come out cryin like a bytch, I see the cycle now, when niggas aint in the spotlight no more and/or are running out of money/opportunity, they b**ch up real quick and show you that persona they rapped about was definitely 'ENTERTAINMENT' not a reflection of themselves in real life at all.

you cant compare the music business to sports my man, its a totally different thing. lakers have an owner, and he pays them to play. win, lose, they make their money. theyre a team. jay is a solo artist, as is beans,bleek, and all them. i mean jay did about everything he could, with making a dynasty album, beans was on a bunch of jay records, i remember jay put one of his hit songs on a beanie siegel album as a bonus track didnt he? like the guy above me said, at some point these guys got to stand on their own. its not like these dudes grew up together right? i dont know the backstory but im assuming they met as artists. all i know is im sure jay got just as much s**t to say if he even decides to respond. he basically carried the roc on his back, i cant even imagine beans having near the success hes had in his career if it wasnt for the jay z affiliation..

This is when business and personal relationships get mixed up....Niggaz forget that unless you grew up with dude, you're a commodity...50 keep his niggaz around because they grew up together...In business, I'm only interested in your success if it makes ME money first...

he didn't grow up with Banks, Young Buck, or Game & he made sure all them niggaz was eatin. not to mention 50 was on those dude's SINGLES & executive producing/"guiding" their albums.

Jay was never on any of Bean's singles (what was that "anything" s**t about? Beans didn't even rap on that s**t! he pulled the same s**t with Bleek on "Dear Summer") or executive producing his albums. He only cares about himself, none of the State Prop members got a fair chance with a PROPERLY marketed/crafted solo album--they got every right to be pissed.

classic case of I need publicity so I diss somebody big, beans is hott, and I sure he do got some beef with jay, but this is only to promote his name and get himself back out there, once he got em all he has to do is what comes natural give hott a bars,
