The former Bad Boy artist was reportedly flown to Belize.

Barrow arrived in Belize at 2:40 pm local time on a Continental flight from Houston escorted by a U.S. Marshall following his deportation from the U.S. after serving almost nine years in a New York penitentiary for his role in a nightclub shooting in New York city. The rapper was processed by local police authorities at the airport's V.I.P. lounge after which he was welcomed by his father Dean Barrow, Prime Minister of Belize, his mother Imeon Myvett and other members of his family and well wishers. Shyne arrived wearing a Harvard Law School sweatshirt, a full head of hair, headphones wrapped around his neck and sporting tzitzis reflecting his conversion to Judaism while in jail. he government closed down the airport's public waving gallery and attempted to prevent the local media from covering his arrival but enterprising T.V. cameramen managed to get some footage through a chain link fence of Shyne entering the V.I.P. lounge and later exiting the airport. Radio personality Miss Info initially broke the details on Shyne's forced move back to Belize last week.

Shyne's team is fighting to stay in the US where his mother and his grandmother live and where they raised him....but it seems like he's going to have to continue the fight from Belize. Shyne will be released from Immigration custody but will then be deported to Belize soon. He has Harvard Professor Charles Ogletree advocating on his behalf in concert with his legal team. They're still urging fans to reach out to Governor Patterson's office to petition for Shyne's pardon, but deportation is imminent. (Miss Info TV)
Wu-Tang Clan's Raekwon recently said he felt Shyne should be allowed to legally stay in New York.

"That's f*cked up, that's politics," Raekwon explained in an interview. "Now the politic game that wanted him in this environment gotta support him and help him out. The minute they help him out and make him feel like the n*gga he's supposed to be, you know what I mean, I think that he can live. They can't stop a man from wanting to feed himself and feed his family. And if this is where he resided to doing this at, you can't take that away from a man. Like come on, n*gga been away from his family in a long time and I run with n*ggas that did that amount of time as well and it's like, yo, you always wanna see them n*ggas overcome so it's only right that he gets that opportunity. Of course [Diddy should help.] I don't see why he wouldn't. Maybe somebody gotta ask him right. Or maybe he wants to do it anyway. The Clipse's Pusha T previously told SOHH he wanted to hit the studio with Shyne.
