Jadakiss Says Diddy Offered L.O.X. One Album Deal

Speaking with Philadelphia’s Power 99FM, Jadakiss [click to read] recently gave light to the possibility of the forthcoming L.O.X. album, the group’s third album, but first since 1998, that would be released by Diddy on the mogul’s Bad Boy label. 'Kiss said that “[Diddy] put an offer out there for a one album deal.”

This would be the first L.O.X. album to feature the Bad Boy name since the group’s debut over a decade ago. Jadakiss has attributed a lack of industry savy on the L.O.X. part as one of the reasons for the split but acknowledges, “We learned a lot from [Diddy].” Jadakiss also believes this possible reconciliation “shows maturity as artists, it shows respect as men” and that “if we all make dollars thenit can all make sense.” As of right now no deal has been finalized as the Yonkers group continues to put the finishing touches on the new album.

In the last decade, the L.O.X. have operated under the moniker D-Block [click to read], with an assortment of other members assisting the core three. They have released albums through Koch.

Last week, Diddy freed fellow '90s Bad Boy rapper Mase from the famed label, after years of hold-ups.

Why do all of this f**king artist want to sign with Diddy?

Even if it is a one album deal... DIDDY WILL RAPE YOU AT THE END!!!

I never understood why people sign to Bad Boy... knowing that at the end... no one comes successful once they leave and actually end up in a worse state!

They better sign that s**t. I don't care what anybody says, they made their best s**t w/ Badboy and ain't it been damn near 10yrs since the last LOX album? Plus its only a one album deal. Diddy can pretty much finance any beat you need and say what you want to say, but Diddy knows how to make "songs". They better sign that s**t!

One year deal ain't bad they mind well do it. I mean if puff willing to promote it. It will definately work. I mean people just need to learn how to read and sign the contract on good terms. I mean mase iis out of his contract but his best days was with bad boys. How much will mase sell now on another label. bottom line is puff is a good business man and he could get some good promotion for the lox album.
