Oct 14 - Kanye West's clothing line dropped

Kanye West's fashion line Pastelle has been reportedly dropped.

West had recently plugged the fashion line and said he was putting all of his energy into clothing. But his new looks were leaked before being immediately retracted, according to one website.

West is a fashion devotee and promoter of his own signature style. He has talked of creating a line for years and collaborated with Nike and Louis Vuitton on shoe collections.

West modelled a Pastelle logo jacket while accepting an American Music Award for Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Artist.

The rogue rapper, however, is seriously out of favour following his on-stage outburst at the recent MTV Video Music Awards. He derailed an award acceptance speech by Taylor Swift, a country music darling.

Friends, meanwhile, speculated that West had shot through to India in a bid to escape the negative publicity. He and Lady GaGa made a joint decision to cancel their tour as a result.
