B.O.B did 84k with the two biggest hits when his first album came out. Big Sean did the same numbers and yet he flops. Nobody expected him to do Drake numbers.

Nobody said it was a flop I was just commenting on the current state of hip hop sales

And bob went gold because of hit singles the pushed the album, something again Big Sean doesn't have as of yet

Doesnt matter if Bruno Mars is hip hop or not, fact is you can have a !!ty first week and turn it into a Gold or Platinum album later on.

They might not have expected the demand, but that's not Big Sean's fault. Don't fault him for 84k when they didn't even ensure enough copies for everybody who wanted one. Had he not been under shipped then his numbers would've certainly been at least a little better.

Also, I'm not sure how he doesn't have a hit single? He has the #1 rap record in the country right now. His second single, which has yet to be put out, will be his record with Kanye & Roscoe which I'm sure we can all agree has potential to be a hit record. Anything Kanye does is big, and anything with Roscoe on it does numbers these days. Also, he is on tour with Wiz Khalifa right now, If anything his buzz should only get bigger.

Digital sales for my last wasnt anything special that radio play kept that !! on the charts which we all know you can pay for.

And Sean put out a second single " I do it", it just didnt "do" !! lol, those other records might be hits but who knows.

who came out 4 years after him with 5 less singles than him, not signed to G.O.O.D music

sounds like a flop to me

its not a huge flop but he could have sold more 1st week

Big Sean's album doesn't seem like 1 that will pick up steam sales wise

This u niccas talking about he flop are just !!ing haters and never like him anyway. 85 k in today age with no huge single and no huge buzz is a !!ing win. There been ppl that have had top 10 single and do less then that. U niccas still acting like only the ppl who bought the cd has it. homie was bootleg and to do 84 k as a new rapper with no real big single is great. dude promo was avg at best this is a win i thought he do like 40k
