Yeah it was a bit disappointing for such a dope track. His flow was decent...it's just that the subject matter was so random given the direction Nas est@blished with his first verse.

I'm no Ross fan by any means, but he wasn't THAT bad. Actually he sounded fine. Off topic? sure. But, Nas goes off topic all the time. In fact his writing style and the way he puts his thoughts together is often times very disjointed.

Nas was on topic that whole song though, ross on the other hand was in a different universe

Sheeit. He was off topic but that was butter with how he was able to adapt with to those retro multis: Kool G Rap. I don't really listen to Ross but he got off. He goes with those pipe organs.

And Nas k!lled it with that multi: "violent adolescents/ homicidal with weapons/ not a lot of knowledge inside of they minds and I'm guessing."

That was impressive.

one of the 2 tracks I didnt like on the album (with Summer On Smash)

And the funny part is that Ross actually k!lled this sh1t. Its just that Nas just chewed it up, spit it out, and showed why over 90% of rappers are not even in his stratosphere. Then that beat fit Nas like a glove. I've listened to the song probably a good 20-25 times, and I'm still amazed every time I hear. That boy Nas is somethin else.
