Cant go wrong with either, but mos hasnt dropped anything classic since Black on both sides..Black thought's been pumping out hot !! for awhile now..The roots new album is [pic] and so was Game theory..I really cant choose though man...I like both MC's equally.....[pic][pic]

have to go with black thought, just personal reference

i can't seem to get into mos def, he's sick on all his features and everything but can't go through a whole cd of his, that's just me though, going give it another try but black thought gets my vote

Black thought raps on Illadelph Halflife rank up there with some of the best ever imo but Black on both sides is a classic though.

because of longevity and consistency i have to choose black thought

Black Thought.

Like dude up top said, Mos Def hasn't released any classic material since Black on Both Sides. He just hasnt been consistent.

Black Thought has always been on point lyrically. He's a very underrated artist. One of the best out there.

Thought has the longevity. Mos is sick as hell though he just cant put together a good album. The only classic is black on both. He also has a group classic with Talib though. As far as talent goes I'd call it a tie, but I have to lean towards Thought as the better emcee
