100k a flop though!?!? No way SH has "4 of the hottest rappers" and eminem and they sold what 50k?

Lupe should go indie. This album was good but didn't have the standout tracks I think he's capable of. The second part should be even better.

1) that is not bad for album with absolutely NO promotion or hit single (or single with decent radioplay). not to mention an album with no album cover...

2) since when do sales determine the quality of an album? sales only show how well your record label pushed your singles to DJ's and radio stations. Atlantic obviously didnt do that for lupe

3) lupe doesnt give a !!. artists make money off of concerts and appearances, not album sales. he'll continue to sell out venues, especially after putting out a great cd like this

It's a flop because his last album did more than double the first week of what hes projected to sell now.
