My peeps tried to clown me for listening to him because he talked about skateboarding, as if niccas don't skateboard. I asked them have they ever had one,(everyone use to skateboard in the early 90's even niccas when they was kids)they said yeah. I pretty much shut them up.

Man I have this same arguement all the time, I feel u 100%. This is why they say hip hop is dead, because a percentage of the audience thinks bein hood is a requirement for a good artist. Theres no doubt about it, Lupe got lyrics (hes above average) just that alot of it will fly over niccaz heads. If u from the hood u only limit urself to hood-related things, then ur just plain ignorant.
