That's stupid as !!. A song could have a great message and I could see like the song isn't that good or sounds good. !! Lil B's I'm Gay had great messages but his delivery definitely wasn't on point (forgive me based god for critiquing you). I personally think it sounds boring not a bad song at all but I'm not going to be playing this.

exactly. He's trying way too hard. I don't know if people just love to listen to complicated things cause it makes them "use their brains" but I listen to music to be entertained and to feel things. Anyone, can write a complicated song.

I can write a song so complicated, you won't even get it, that doesn't make it good. What impresses me is to see someone take a complicated concept and simplify, deserves much more kudos. But to take something simple, then veil it 10x over to make it even more complicated, or to take something complicated and make it even more complicated just so people can say your a deep thinking MC, naw, can't get with that. Delivery is horrible. Song is not sonically pleasing, concept is not graspable, just overall no. Video did not make it any better nor was it fun or interesting to watch. It's almost exactly what you expected.

My problem was the song was boring. Sonically pleasing as you put it. On a track like dumb it down he's rapping over a simple beat and making his lyrics complex. It makes you follow patterns in the song and you can decipher his lyrics (which I guess is not your cup of tea). On this track it's just a simple beat and a concept.
