That third verse, man! Gets me every time. Not necessarily a track you'd put in the whip and ride around to - but I see myself throwin' on the headphones and zonin' out to it. Nice overall video too; liked the black-face reference too.

Liked the song when it dropped have liked it more every time I listen to it. Video is brave, Lupe gonna catch a lot of heat from the caught feelings of those feeling guilty like Little Brother did for Minstrel Show or Nas did for HHID.....this should be fun.

I don't think he dumbed anything down at all. Just made the song " enjoyable ". Some people have that " I'll read a book if I want a message " mentality. So you gotta give 'em something they can jam to while slippin' in something they can walk away with.
