someone made a good point saying that we as supposed hiphopheads make a litle too big of a deal out of liking tracks that are ONLY LYRICAL, or ONLY FILLED WITH SUBSTANCE

but fact of the matter is that there is a need and a time and a place for songs like Lollipop, and Wayne made that track.

it gets the girls down on the dance floor, the beat bumps for all the fellas who have systems in they cars, and his swag creates classic lines and quotes the we all can repeat

"Back dat[..] up like errp errp"

"Shawty say the nicca that she wit aint THIS"

"Lil mama had a swag like mine"

and so on and so on...

the man is getting money and he is doing it the way he wants and the way he loves to do it, so more power to him

get ready for WEEZY - MANIA like it or not...

im gonna wake up and stop being a hater, because hating all the time only makes one look worse, jealous and lame all at the same time. if its wack, i'll state it and give a solid reason why, and end it, i will not continue hating on a rapper just because its cool to say he '' trash ''

(with the exception of soulja boy, he deserves all the hate)

It's not going to be number one this week. maybe on RnB charts, but not Hot100.Mariah is with "Touch My Body". and she broke Elvis record and Madonna did to making it her 37th. top 10 hit with that track she have with Timbaland n Justin T.

and Wayne didnt broke the record for biggest jump.Beyonce n Shakira did with "Beautiful Liar" last year.

Good point with soulja boy deserving it, I mean Lil Wanyne ain't bad even for the biggest "Hip-Hop Head" you gotta respect a cleaver and witty lyricist.

!! save the hate for the Shawty Lo's of the world as far as lyricism goes but you still gotta respect a nicca hustle and grind and even that dude CD bang as far as a few beats and hooks.

I think it's time for the "Hip-Hop Head Universe" to either except the state of the game or do something about it, because ain't really nobody bringing that 92'-96' heat so you pretty much gotta find the good in what's out and keep an open mind.

It's just entertainment people.

Dont like the choice of single for the C3 album, but Wayne for the last 4 to 5 years is k!lling the game with material.Get used to seeing Wayne for years to come.

Single sucks, but cant argue with success.
