"Lap of Lux" How did you feel...

about this album after the first listen or two?


For myself I thought/said it was pure garbage but I found myself giving the album more and more spins b/c I discovered another track I began to like from a previous spin. I somehow made it to a 4th listen and fux'd hard with the album by that time. This album goes.

What were you guys thoughts?

I don't know, Michael Rocks kind of bores me without Chuck Inglish to be honest.

Lap of Lux was his worst solo tape. Just my opinion.


Listened to it twice and was like "nah" don't want.

I think this tape was dope..its still in rotation right now been bangin it since late summer...I think it was mikey rock's best tape..

Took me four listens to like it. At first it sounded like a big departure from his norm but its not. Ive even came around to liking the autotune tracks

i didnt make it the whole way through, but i wasnt feeling what i did hear. and i !!s with mikey rocks and the cool kids

definitely grew on me like all his tapes. i can listen all the way thru, at first i wasn't feeln it as much but each of his projects have their own place in my playlist

Almost every track on that tape goes hard.

!! is dope music to ride to @ night with the system. didnt like it @ first then went back and realized it wasnt that bad.

Its obvious this tape is like a fine Wine. Not good until full aged.

i smoked a blunt and bumped it again not long after i commented, and it was a lot better than i had remembered [pic]

Not his best solo tape but I give him props for doing something different and switching the style up... I fault a lot of rappers for not having progression and this was his crack at it so I cant hate on that.

I think what loses me sometimes is that he has that Ghostface just rap about what the !! ever comes to mind flow which is fine but I dont think that should be his wave... If he rocked more with the Jets than the TPC I think he could be a more well rounded artist.
