I think how u dress can influence yo audience. The reason why the mainstream is so !!ed up is cuz alot of the DOPE niccas i.e Kendrick Lamar come off as lame[..] niccas, and its hard for the general crowd to rock wit lame[..] niccas. It aint wierd enough to appeal to the pop crowd, (will.i.am and them wierd niccas), It aint new age enough to appeal to these young dudes (skinnies and !!), and it aint urban enough to fit wit the street types (jay z, most other rappers that dont wear skinnies). The !! he got on just look wack, and I think its counter productive to the songs goal of mass appeal. If I aint like KL already, I probably woulda had to get past laughin at his shoulder pads just to even listen to it.
