But yeah i agree, I think kendrick is the only person capable of topping Life is Good this year.

In discussions like these I exclude certain people because they have nothing left to prove, Nas, Jay and Em.
I rate Kendrick but I think Lupe is leader of the pack when it comes to straight up emceeing, as far as I see it aint no one seeing him. I expect most not to agree with that after the reaction to "Lasers". But for me I hear joints like "Beamin", "Go to Sleep", "All Black Everything" and his new singles and appreciate the attention to detail. People overlooked "Friend of the people". Even as a fan some of the hate is warranted with at least 4 songs on FOTP being sub par. However songs like "Joaquin Pheonix", "WWJD...." and "Double Burger with Cheese" make up for it. Again I expect no one to agree but I think people hate Lupe for the wrong reasons and he doesnt get the respect he deserves as a great emcee of this generation.
