If you never heard of Nas right, and you saw where one day some dude named Nas had beef with Budden, and they were making diss tracks, IT WOULDN'T EVEN BE FAIR.

As far as making songs, you would have Nas taking a concept and watering it down with suspect wording and flow. You would have Budden gettin mad deep and personal on a track and gettin everyone's attention. Most real people would generally feel Joe Budden if they actually listened.

If i was doing a track right now, and wanted someone to hop on with me, the choice would depend on whether or not I want to go commercial.

Cuz obviously people ain't gonna check on a track ft. Joe Budden.

I would pick Nas cuz 1) As you can see people will ride with him for whatever reason, so people are gonna listen to it and 2) If I'm anywhere near decent people will start checkin for me cuz Nas would get outshined more easily than Budden would.

Dude, give it a rest. Like I said before, I rate Buddens. But he just isnt !!ing with Nas' disco. nicca's get tired of hearing Joe Buddens rapping about the same emo type of !! every song. You guys making it seem like we are saying Joey sucks, when that's not even the case. It has nothing to do with Nas being an older MC in the game, so you can stop with that nonsense. Illmatic, It was Written, I am, Stillmatic, and Streets Disciple are all better than whatever Budden's mixtape you want to compare.

and even if it is comparing disco's

it would be Nas' one classic, the below average album called Untitled, and a bunch of poorly produced average albums with 3 or 4 hot tracks.

and before I start budden sucks at picking beats too, but:

Mood Music 2, padded room, and a bunch of consistent, above average mixtapes

I don't see how good mixtapes aren't equivalent to good albums if we're talking about music here [pic]
