| I'd have a better discography is it was 12 or 13 albums to five. 2pac got better every album as he went. No other rapper can say that. Having longevity doesn't mean you're better, but it means something and Jay has everything to be proud of. One could make the argument that if 2pac lived, Jay may never have blown up. He released Reasonable Doubt to little fanfare.... Don't let people rewrite history. It's a classic but nobody really cared when it dropped. 2pac dies, all of a sudden Jay blows up and a bunch of bald headed, bandana wearing niccas pop up. Jay is a tremendous businessman, but for every classic he may have, there's average LP's all around him. Any 2pac fan knows the growth from album one to Makaveli. It's crazy how much he grew... Can Jay say the same? Is his content really all that different now than it was when he started? What's his message? 2pac's music is being taught in classrooms and will be sampled forever.... How much longevity will BP2, BP3, Kingdom Come, Best Of Both Worlds 1 & 2, Vol 1 and 2 etc REALLY have? And don't let the niccas that bring up Jay taking lines from Biggie show up in here... Sorry man. Jay really doesn't have an argument as the true greatest IMO. He hovers around the top 5, if not actually being a part of it. 2pac is MJ and Jay is Bill Russell. Russell has won more than anyone in sports let alone the NBA... Jay fits that bill. [pic] | |

Jay was better at storytelling ?? [pic] Jay gives better interviews ?? [pic] 3 dope albums in a row isn't consistent (MATW,AEOM,7Day) ?? [pic] When did Jay drop three dope albums in a row ?? [pic] So you think as smart and success oriented as Pac was he wouldn't have been able to switch-up and adapt his hit making to whatever worked ?? You're just gonna[..]ume that ?? What an awful post, 90% of that list is a result of tupac dying... Pac doesn't compare to elvis or michael jackson honestly that is just laughable... michael jacksons one album alone is more popular than any rappers entire career. Rap will never be as big as the other genres, unless it kept following the path of becoming hip pop.
jay had realer stories, I don't know how much more I can break it down for you to understand, he didn't say he was the best story teller, he tells the realest stories. Again reading seems to be challenging for you, that is consistent for 3 albums, not overall. For example say someone makes all terrible albums for 10 years 10 trash albums, that would be consistent. Consistently bad but consistent. Or to help you understand this more simply say someone drops 3 classics in a row, then drops 3 trash albums in a row, would you consider him consistent? yes jay has better interviews imo. NO, I never said that.... tupac would adapt the same way jay did if he wanted to appease the general public. Whether you like it or not hip hop has grown a lot since tupacs [rip] maybe in a bad way. For example I get around would be a much more successful single than some of tupacs other singles combined even more so today than back then. Oh Jay had " realer " stories ?? [pic] I guess you'd know since you were on the block with Jay ?? [pic] He let you spend some of that money since 88' ?? [pic] Jay had 3 arguable classics in 7 years, Pac had 3 arguable in 5 years [pic] Jay put out 4 mediocre albums in that time, Pac put out two [pic] So who's more consistent ?? [pic]

Biggie and other rappers died how come they don't have the same things? Pac is more talked about than Michael Jackson and MJ died 2 years ago every week there's something in the news about pac !! Michael Jackson daughter got pets named after him
The person who said he lost 92 bricks stories is realer than the person who made Brenda's got a baby? Not sure if serious[pic] Last edited by Kingpin 313; 08-20-2012 at 03:43 AM..

Yes jay had realer stories, better stories is debatable, again I will try to break it down since you seem to be mentally challenged. Say you go and talk to a drug dealer or any criminal in prison and get them to tell you stories, they might not be the best at telling you the story but the story is real. Now say you go and talk to rick ross and ask him to tell you some of his "stories", he will most likely tell the story better but would they be realer? [pic] @ jay dropping 4 mediocre albums in 7 years...jay only has 3 mediocre albums his entire career and that is being modest and counting one of the vols as "mediocre"
Using other rappers that weren't as big as pac when they died is irrelevant. If jay or eminem were to die tomorrow(knock on wood [pic]) their sales would skyrocket, the industry and labels would chick them out by continuing to make albums that will sell, they would in turn generate a lot of success around the world that their family most likely wouldn't see much of. Resulting in statues, murals etc. Jay/nas already have college courses of their work and they are still alive. [pic] The 92 bricks thing has been confirmed by multiple people, he just extremely over exaggerated how much he was losing. Last edited by whothebestmc; 08-20-2012 at 03:54 AM..

| Until Jay has either a Changes or Until The End of Time in his catalog don't talk about "real." Substance entails material things but it is so much more vain & shallow than what Pac spoke about for the majority of his catalog... | |

| This is common knowledge to anyone with a brain. Jay Slays PAC in every aspect of MCing and has a better catalogue. Reasonable Doubt>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>any 2pac album by significant margin | |

Thanks for backing up the credibility of Jay's "stories" , you must've been quite big yourself in the NY drug trade scene back then huh ??? [pic] Jay only has 3 mediocre albums ?? [pic] You thought I was gonna stop using these smilieys ?? [pic]
