I'm sorry but how is Flesh Of My Flesh, Blood Of My Blood A Classic?

Aside from Slippin', No Love 4 Me, Blackout, Dogs For Life and the title song, the cd is trash.. 5 good songs out of 14 tracks and 2 skits? It's Dark and Hell Is Hot is X's only classic. Flesh of my flesh just had some classic songs.

Classic or not. He put out its dark and hell is hot in the same year he put out flesh of my flesh. He put in the work.

Iunno, I ain't gonna sit here & trash the album but the only song I really listen to from that album is Slippin' and a couple other joints (Names escape me ATM). Other than that, I like some of his newer stuff after that a lil better.

The only song I don't like that much is Coming From...and that's because of the beat. Definitly a classic to me!

It has some classic songs, but is no classic. It's not nearly as good as "It's Dark & Hell Is Hot," an album that came out in the very same year.

A big problem with this album is Swizz Beatz' production: much of it sounds cheap and dated, especially today. X's rapping was fine, but the law of diminishing returns was already starting to be a problem, even on his second album.

Highlights: "Bring Your Whole Crew," "Coming From," "Slippin," "Blackout," "Flesh Of My Flesh, Blood Of My Blood."
