| For the idiots who think Lil Wayne going to jail is the BIGGEST,WRONG!! By Peterparker - 03-11-2010, 06:13 AM - Boxden > The Hip-Hop Spot Let's do a little history lesson I can't blame the dumb asses who were 10 or 7 yrs old in the early n mid or even late 90's..But some of you young f**ks..n I really hope some of you aren't in ur mid to late 20's..but some of u idiots act like the whole Wayne going to jail drama is the biggest coverage of a rapper going to jail ever..sayin stupid ass s**t like "now what other rapper you know had ppl waitin outside tha courtroom like"..hmmmmmmmm..I can name 3 incidents in hip-hop.. one that was much bigger then this..but let me take you dumb f**ks to class 1.Snoop Dogg murder trial-the media coverage was crazy..it was also the downfall n change of Snoops musical career..Snoop was awholeeeeee different person after the trail..he had the famous lawyer Johnnie Cochran who got O.J. off..the trial n Snoops reaction after he was found not guilty was just as big of a moment then Waynes media coverage on going to tha pen 2.Puff Daddy/Shyne Trial-the media coverage was crazyyyyyyyy..for several reasons..P. Diddy was probably at his highest peak around that time..Bad Boy was still somewhat respected in tha industry..Puff was with the "baddest chick" in tha game at tha time J.Lo..Cochran again was the lawyer..and J.Lo had to testify not to mention she broke up w/ Puff during the trial..and after all the smoke was clear Shyne was tha one that got put in tha pen for several years...(had more drama n media coverage then Lil Waynes 8 month stint) 3.Jay-Z trial on assult charges..was pretty big in 99/00..accussed of stabbing Lance "Un" Rivera...had mad delay's..made tha track n shot tha video for "Guilty untill proven innocent".. this trial was actually overshadowed tho by Puffs n Shynes trial since it was going on around tha same time 4.No other trial was big..not even ur god n savior Waynes trial was as big as 2pac's trial..you talk about the media coverage..all eyes were on Pac every f**king time he went to tha courtroom..why?? rap was being targeted along with Pac(mainstream was still afraid of hip-hop around this time and Pac was tha face of that "hate" so tha media/the courtroom had a field day which led to more drama)..Pac had so many cases against him at one time.. he had some of tha most memorable outburst n quotes during his trials all around tha same time.. spitten in tha camera's w/ his red hockey jersey n bandana on..then he gets shot 5 times..the night before he's told he will be facing prison time..n is bound to a wheelchair w/ a pool of media coverage..goes to prison..has the #1 album in tha country while in prison..#1 single while in prison..then the east vs. west beef gets crazier when Pac does tha classic VIBE interview claiming Big n Puff knew who set em up n did nothing to warn him....s**t was crazier then Wayne situation

| Epic fail this is why Lil Wayne going to jail is so huge. If your not a fan of Lil Wayne or not interested in his situation don't be apart of him being in jail. Don't read threads on it. Don't have anything to do with it. I don't know why people who don't care about him going to jail seem to care so much they are willing to write essays and post in every thread involving Lil Wayne going to jail. Yes its big because not just fans are interested, everyone seems to be. Noone seems to be able to stop talking about him being in jail. Even people who arn't fans. It's an epidemic. If you don't like Lil Wayne/arn't interested stay the f**k out of his threads don't talk about him going to jail and so on and so on then we wont have so many 10 page lil wayne threads on here. Just saying, you complain about people thinking him going to jail is bigger than 2pac, and then post a huge thread on him going to jail Last edited by Tecsect; 03-12-2010 at 01:00 PM.. | |

| I've been saying this for a while, no one is talking about Wayne's bid, Paris Hilton had more press. What major TV station has covered this story? Tupac's charges were more serious, Wayne is going to jail for a f**king gun, I think many of his fans have forgotten what he was going to jail for in the first place. Wayne can never be Tupac (Pac actually used his gun). | |

It's over now, what can they say now? "Breaking news, we forgot to mention rapper Lil Wayne has been sentenced to 8 months in prison, and has just completed a whole week in jail?"

Exactly he critises for people saying him going to jail is bigger than 2pac and then makes a huge thread over weezy going to jail.Haters and people who "don't care" are doing more than the fans to promote this when they apparently don't care to enter the thread in the first place If you really don't care just stay out of the threads all together. I'm starting to think everyone cares at least a little Last edited by Tecsect; 03-12-2010 at 01:03 PM..

Leave the Jail threads to the Lil Wayne fans/people who are interested and keep it moving otherwise you care just as much as them just in a different way. Last edited by Tecsect; 03-11-2010 at 10:18 AM..

Times have changed my dude, it's not because Wayne is not worth the headline, but the news media is having a tough time reaching people. Newspapers are dying, music sales are dying, the TV stations feel like it's not worth airing, and Hip-Hop is just dead. People actually thought Wayne was in jail before he actually went in, so, the media is not doing a good job on their half. Last edited by Joe Budden; 03-11-2010 at 08:07 AM..
