You can learn a lot from rappers by watching their recording process....like how Wayne shows how he punches in and fits his music together like puzzle pieces. or how Jay-Z listens to the beat over and over, finds the tempo, hums out a flow then goes into the booth and starts speaking his mind. Or how Young Thug gets in the booth, delivers lines with differents voices until he likes it.

@ 11 minute mark He also explained how he threw the display in the booth, so he could be aware of how many bars he spit and it also gives him a visual representation of the bars - helping him flow better.

Call Thug g@y all you want, but watching these videos, it would seem like it would be fun as hell recording with this dude. He seems like he really loves to make music.
