Q.how did the nas and jay-z beef start?
A. nas refused to be on jay'z reasonble and refused to let jay on his albums
since jay fired shots at nas first he must have emotionally affected like a bi#ch

capo's quit letting ni##as make gay post about all this pac vs jigga vs. nas.vs.jay-z .vs. bigg the sh#t is gay

i thought it was on da song Nastrudamus, Nas said "u wanna ball 2 u fall, i can help u wit that/or i can let a slug melt in ya hat". Memph Bleek made a song wit "ball 2 i fall" bein one of da lines in da chorus and seeing that Memph Bleek always be wearin hats and sh#t, i guess he took offense and that's how it started. that's wut i was told. don't kno how true it is tho.

that exactly how the beef started between jigga N nas. hov was performing at a concernt in tha ny and the take over was his last song he was performing. at the end he threw that line in "ask nas you dont want it with hov" as the show ender.

actually fabolous iam is correct.

it was bleek beef (and of course jay had to take it over)

bleek's first song/line at nas

*Memph Bleek Is*, back for the streets
Knowin that *Coming of Age*, controllin the creep
Put in work on these streets, bustin my heat
Dodgin the Ds, you know it's a margin between me
And only a few fit in, your lifestyle's written
So who you supposed to be, play your position

no no no...it started when jay wanted nas officially to be on reasonable doubt but nas said no but jayz went ahead and put his line on dead presidents..than jay asked for nas to be in the video and nas said no...than little disses here and there between them lead up to jayz foolin with nas's baby mother...than the "is that yo chick" song and than nas responded back to bleek on nastradamus than jayz did takeover..

de dead presidents wud have been something dat helped sparked the beef

"Round here frontin like my sh#t don't sound like nuttin
Like I ain't got the crown or suttin
Like I ain't the ni##a you base ya life on
I guess i ain't the reason you got that ice onLike I ain't the muthafu#kin dude wit the shoes
I guess I ain't the reason you rhyme the way you do
Like I ain't the ni##a who mastered all flows
And the reason they can't sell them four point O's
Like I ain't 5 mill, and what do ya joint go?
Excuse me? ni##a don't confuse me
I ain't one of you rappers who got a deal
I'm one of the few ni##az spittin it and got it for real
And even if you hatin, you gotta knock it in yo wheels
And the day that i stop it.....ILL!!"

dis was jay's verse from the track "what you think dat" off the coming of age album
heaven knows wat happen prior to dat

so as i know it really started from the memphis bleek beef

after memphis' "got my mind right" track
nas replied wid

"Yo blow faces, fo-fo blazes, no one's safe
This music mogul rollin wit a hundred soldiers
Gangstas we postal
Oh you didn't, wanna know whose life Was Written
The life I'm livin
The ice the women
The kites that sendin to lifeless biddin
The streets to prison
I touch you then buck you"

was quite subliminal

haha

dat's nice but if it did done why is nas still whinnin

anyhow ether was tight no doubt it was better than takeover but takeover only had a verse goin at nas while ether was a whole song goin at jay. it's like dat one verse jay spit was soo tight nas had to go back and think on it.

i know not much ppl knows but he was intendin to release a diss track called h to izzo m to the izzo (homo) but when he takeover he knew he cuddn't drop the weak sh#t so he went back to the lab

anyhow in essence nas won but the a$s made a bet wid jay, sayin dat they gon battle each other thru albums blueprint 2 and god son based on week sales and obviously you knew who won
so sayin one thing is sayin another
