If you dont know what it means you shouldn't use it, it wouldn't be slang if everybody knew what it meant, I can listen to pretty much any song from the east and south and know what they are talking about and if not i keep listening

You need a hug or something man....seriously.If someones listening to a song and wants to better understand the lyrics in the context,or wants to get what ppl say to him hes lame or white?Haha the lamest #### in that is you said if you dont know what it means oh well.WTF you listening to the song for if you dont have a clue what its talkin bout man.Slang is different everywhere.I lived in Dallas,Virginia Beach,Marietta Ga.,J-Ville Fl,and i stay in Honolulu now(not paid,i work for military here.) and i promise ppl use the same phrases slightly differently in all these spots man,theres nothing wrong with trying to not be ignorant of something.Being stupid on the other hand.....

naw, homie a baby refers to the offsetting number of grams or ounces n the weight u are buying. if u gettin a key it would be 4 oz. lets do that math

1K = 2.2 pounds or 1000 grams

32 oz is the 2 pounds and the 4 addition OZ's give u the full 36

A lot of slang has the same definition, it's just a matter of geographical preference. "Slime" for example is a Harlem thing, not New York in general. It all depends where you from, so different origins, different terms, same definition.

Cam (and Lil Wayne) get credit for popularizing "No Homo", but it's been around since the 80s. I'm not sure if Jay-Z made up "Pause" or just popularized it though.

For the cats gettin' mad at folks who're asking the questions: yeah, they can Google it, but this is more enlightening. My guess is 85% of Boxden is filled with white folks/people who don't live in the hood -- at least you can get some detailed info from the 15% who actually live this.

I can tell who knows what they're talkin' about and who Googles the answer and types it as if it's their own
