| IMO "Hit Em Up" is overrated, and the Outlaws ruin that song for me. I listen to the first part with the intro and Pac's verse and then fast forward to the adlibs at the end. "Ether" gets weekly play in my rotation to this day. | |

| stop playin ETHER all day, hit em up is Top 5 but it aint #2...u gotta take everything into account including Nas' back was completely against the wall, his career could have been over and he's going against a man at his peak from the same city of new york...Pac came outta nowhere with his, and biggie is easy to diss, Nas didn't need any props or fake...Hit em up is great to listen to (no surprise it was a single but it has weak azz outlaws on it) but Ether was solo dolo all or nothing and he left it all out there...Jay didn't even know what to do how to respond, it was that much of a [rip]blow, except when jay stopped trying to respond smh he got back to making great music | |
