An 18-year-old rapper named JayLoud was shot and k!lled on Christmas Eve.

Following the [rip] of 18-year-old rapper Joshua "JayLoud" Davis, his family claims that the shooting was caused by him wearing a Lil Jojo hoodie.

According to NBC Chicago, Davis was shot to [rip] in Chi-town on Christmas Eve several blocks from his home following an altercation with a group of men on a CTA bus at around 11:30 p.m. The crew followed Davis off of the bus and one of the men pulled out a gun and shot him several tims in the torso and once in the ear.

His sister told DNAinfo.com that he was murked for "wearing a hoodie" that honors slain rapper Lil Jojo, who had a rivalry with Chief Keef. Keef allegedly took to Twitter to laugh at Jojo's [rip] but later said his account was hacked.

While the family thinks that the shooting was related to the hoodie, a Chicago Police Department spokesman said that the police report didn't name a piece of clothing. Detectives are still investigating the case and no suspects are in custody.

The December holiday weeks are the worst because everybody is off work, kids are out of school, niccas takeover, and police lose control. Every year, parts of Chicago feel virtually lawless from December 20th to the New Year. Cops seem to give up and not really care anymore since the homicide count is unevitable by mid December, and the year is pretty a wrap for them. So it literally feels like the Chicago Police Department disappears and doesnt even exist during the Holidays and last weeks of the year. They shot atleast 12 people here in Chicago since Christmas Eve, New Years Eve is gonna be UGLY. There will be so many gunshots it will sound like July 4th. And then Chicago police will come out of hiding around January 3rd/4th and magically appear like they always do since they get to go back to 0 and get their "fresh start" for murks/crime statistics. All the cops really care about right now is 2013.
