| U must compare someone of the same era____ Biggie takes it bcuz he stood out where rap came from where u are expected to be talented Eminem is definitely a problem bcuz of his consistency wit 91% of his songs___ he embraced hip op dominated in a place where u are ur environment __ | |

| Skill wise= they are equal. Both has killa flow and both had great lyrics at their peaks. Art wise= Ready to Die is better than anything between them, however Em's first three albums are easily better than Life After Death. Originality= Eminem. Both were original but Em was more so original and Biggie def. took his most self defining subject matter (the death stuff) from Scarface imo. Em broke barriers with his lyrics and rocked the establishment. Overall Eminem. Em didn't have to remake songs. He didn't have to act like super tough thug. He didn't jock anything from anyone. He didn't let 2pac or anyone else s**t on him. Last edited by Megastorm; 07-29-2010 at 03:46 PM.. | |

| Eminem. BIG career was too short to be put on a pedestal like niggas do. That's why I think em>>>jay>>>big. Just cuz they been around longer and skills have been pushed to anotha limit creatively. So to answer all that, I say eminem. I never sold drugs or popped guns, but I do know what's its like to have a pops basically walk out on ya (jail time that is), family members poppin pills, etc... | |

| Woowwwwwwwwwwwww this is just going too far. EM's 40 right now B.I.G. made two albums better than anything he's down before he was 25. Stop it. And Bigs cd were both long as hell with bangers all the way through. Bigs potential imo wasn't even tapped. Life After Death>>> Ready to Die lyrically and production wise. "Blood and money don't mix like two dicks wit no chick.. you gonna find yourself in serious s**t" This had to be my favorite line ever. from anyone idk i guess imo nothing em or jay or nas can do can top big and pac they were better then they all would be about the same age if they were all alive.. and they would be better now imo and most the stuff those two put out is better than em and jay and nas before big and pac died. Think about where those three were at in their career at 25 and where big and pac were. They were the goats. | |

| Ready to Die > any Eminem album but IMO Life After Death lacks due to content. Everytime listen to Life After Death i just think how it is an attempt to remake Ready to Die but in a more mainstream fashion. This can be seen as a lot of the songs are more concentrated on the chorus/hooks, and there are only a few songs where Biggie just murders the tracks. As well, I think he had too many features and too many songs in general on this album. "Playa Hata", "Another", and "Nasty Boy" are all songs i never can call good. so in that sense, Biggie in 1/2 in making definite CLASSIC albums Eminem's first 4 albums (including infinite) are argued to be classic by most people, and now he just dropped Recovery. Also, i feel that Eminem hit me on a more personal level than Biggie; IMO the way Eminem's describes his reactions/emotions towards situations, in often an exaggerated way but not too farfetched from what people actually wish to do, makes him a more creative artist. SO, IMHO Eminem > Biggie | |

| I gotta go with Eminem, biggie didnt have enough time, so really its hard to compare the 2 of them, cause you can say Encore was garbage, but Biggie didnt put out enough albums to see if he had the depth to continue making great music | |
