I bought it at co-op city... I was like 10 and I remember I had to beg the cashier to let me get it! Long Story short, it was a great album... But Eminem Is No Goat and SSLP > MMLP

my point was everyone who had 1 or 2 hits on the radio sold hella amounts of records back then

A Japanese artist in the early 2000s did over 3 million first week, can't remember the name tho.

but yea, point was everyone with a half popular single sold hella records back then and nsync outsold eminem back in the day
