Maybe I just don't listen to Drake enough (Note: I don't listen to him at all) but I honestly didn't know he even had that many singles released.

Understand....Jay didnt give a !! about charting early in his career. Only at Bad Boy and Def jam records was radio play largely considered when making rap albums. His early music was geared more towards the streets. Plus he aint coming out singing to women....makes a huge difference.

What people don't seem to understand is that Drake is only 4 years into this !!. If he plays his cards right, in the long run, he can be bigger than Jay. He just needs to keep a solid head on his shoulders and make the right decisions. He's a very versatile and marketable person and can make way more money than he has up to now.

Why we discussing peoples fame or bank accounts? Only thing that should matter is the music. In this case the "rapping". Not even a big Jay-Z fan besides his first album and Blueprint 1, but you can't compare Drake to Jay-Z as far as actual rapping goes. Jay-Z is Top 10 while Drake wouldn't even crack the top 100. R&B/Hip Hop charts are just that R&B or Hip Hop. Good for both of them for making money but they aint giving me none so why the fck would I give a fck?

I hope those that have issues with Drake aren't Wayne fans. It would foolish being that Drake is the only artist from that camp putting out quality music. This is nice accomplishment. Drake's not gonna come close to having the hip hop career Jayz has because he doesn't have that uncanny ability to rap like Jay. His R&B/rap lane will carve him out a nice[..] career though. He just needs to focus more when it's time to drop that album because he two deep and neither one is great. Once he leaves YM and surrounds himself with peers that can challenge him, musically, he gonna drop that magical album.

It's a single driven industry now. Everyone knows this! You have artist like Katy Perry tied MICHAEL JACKSON's record of five No. 1 songs from one album on the Billboard Hot 100. Fireworks, even though a good song, wouldn't even had cracked Top 10 against songs from the Whitney Houstons and Mariah Careys of that era!
