In any other time period he would of blew, he had mixtape tracks that were album worthy smashes...the thing I dont think people understand right now....is the industry has literally only letting sucka sellout clowns blow for quite some time....we in that wack phase an that !! peaked and is burning out slowly....

They were poking fun at dude because he has a lot of cheetos punches. So yeah, extremely lame is very fitting.

If that album ever drops, I can see it making "biggest let downs in hip hop" lists. With this long[..] wait, it would have to be revolutionary to justify the 6-7 year production period.

I think cats like Sai and Pap examples are more indicative of how lame the politics of the industry is rather than the actual talent of both said artists.

Sure their hunger might of died down, who wouldnt after going so hard and your album aint drop or was delayed for years, but I think its the fact, that the perception of them as artist has changed is more of their downfall, than them actually falling off.

Both of them are still capable of making the music that got them the buzz in the first place ppl just look at them and treat them differently and that chips away at their hunger and confidence.

Yeah I remember being excited about Papoose back in 06 but I feel like he sort of got lost in the sea of long white tee/throwback jersey and pinweel fitted over the eyes Smack DVD New York niccas. Like I feel like it mighta been different if he first was getting his name out 2 or 3 years earlier but when he came out I think that, despite his skill, it was hard for him to stand out. He was nice though.

As far as ya'll talking about Saigon I recently read an interview where he was talking about his album getting shelved for something like 4 years and the label not letting him record music elsewhere or leave for that time so it sorta !!ed his chances all the way up. The politics in the music industry are atrocious.
