carter 4 was trash, and eventhough carter 3 was a disappointment to the standard we had come to expect from wayne. carter 3 was still above average.

i can say i do believe that the only thing wrong with wayne is lack of effort, and that hes just not truly in touch with his audience...meaning his life is so good to him right now he has absolutely nothing to rap about that ppl will feel...he doesnt have any hunger


hes not a great business man like a jay or 50

hes doesnt have a die hard core audience like a nas or a jay

he isnt in the mix of current events like an em or kanye

but there was a time where the vast majority of HIP HOP and rap fans thought he could be put in the convo as greatest alive with the fore mentioned artist.

Wayne stopped give'n a phuck when his popularity got m&m status & Drake & Nicki blew up.

Carter 3 was one of his best albums ever. Creatively, nothing he came out with touched that album. I know people gonna say carter 1 or 2: this is the time his bars stepped up to a whole other level.

This is what people have a hard time admitting. He was a great rapper in his prime. Slick with the punchlines, had a nice flow, charisma. He was never even close to being the "best rapper alive" though...lol

The shyt that came out commercially was OK his best shyt since the original Carter 3 that got leaked for me would be No Ceilings that shyt was fiya urything since been[..] besides a few hot verses on features and like 5 songs on Carter 4, 2 of which he wasn't even on lol
