Big Sean Says He Didn't Like His Album "Finally Famous"

Most fans of Big Sean enjoyed his Finally Famous mixtape series, as well as his solo debut Finally Famous: The Album. Sean, however, sees it differently.

During an interview with Hip Hop Wired, Sean says that he wasn’t really feeling Finally Famous. Reflecting back to last year when the album dropped, he believes it could have been a lot better overall.

"I ain't really like it that much. On the first album I wasn't really in love with every single one. I just think it was a timing thing, I just started getting into the groove I was starting to feel comfortable right when it was due. Really when it was past due, and it kind of !!ed me up.”

Sean also talked about his sophomore effort, revealing plans that it will feature more radio songs and be very personal.

"You live and you learn and I'm glad it went like that. I'm glad my first album was the way it was and I'm glad the second album is the way it is shaping up to be. I think my first album had a lot of radio songs on it and that is an important part of things and it is a necessity you have to est@blish. At least radio knows me now as a presence and now they'd be willing to take more chances on me and that's what this second album is. It's all about taking chances. [The second album's] a little bit more personal and making some new !! for the radio instead of trying to go for something else."

So 9-10 = great/classic (if it's a 10 it's classic with no exceptions/FLAWLESS), 8-9 = good/near great, 7-8 (which is a C, which is average) is average, 6-7 (where you had it is a D which is poor at best, and anything below a 6 is bad/terrible/trash. Using my scale, he'd get a 7-7.5. It wasn't good but it wasn't terrible either. Average. No WAY it was pretty good... I think your system might make more sense than mine perhaps?
