They got ursher & neyo doing swedish house mafia with david guetta instead of real r&b

Now they gon take ova tha trap sound

White suburb kids love it cuz its the version of that trap #### that they feel like they can claim as they own

This polarizing of multiple genres is ok as long as the individual genres remain in tact and not completely replaced by the mutation. Aint nothin wrong wit exploring new sounds and see what sticks

They're giving trap a bad name IMO, they're using templates from mainstream 'trap' songs like House Party and Ima Boss and mixing them with Dubstep build-ups, it hardly sounds like real trap.

How did we go from this:

To this:

I'm not understanding the negativity for this trend. It's just a blend between dubstep songs and giving it a edgy boom with a trap, gritty, hip-hop bounce sound.

To be honest it sounds better than dubstep & dubstep itself is pretty good when done right.

You either rock with it or go to your hoodrat dirty parties where they play reggae for 2/3 of the night. Seeing how most people like to party, have fun, not take things seriously when they're partying, it only makes sense to jam to this new Trapstep movement!

Let loose!
