| GIVE PROPS QUICK MSG a d ![]() $336 | Rep: 3171 | Anger Management Atlanta I went to the concert last nite , that shit was crazy hot, first of all it started on time, which I loved. lil Jon really got everyone crunk, and he brought out Ice Cube, that shit made me act a fool. G-unit really got everyone crunk , 50 jumped in form the ceiling, like some sort of super nigga, but he really got everyone involved in his show. The biggest highlight was when Mobb Deep and M.O.P came out , i thought i was in heaven, the sad thing was a lot of people didn't know who they were , i had people asking me who they were, I looked at them and shook my head and told them that they are sad , because before there were G-unit there was Mobb Deep and the Mash Out Posse. another sad piont was when Eminem asked how many people know their hip hop , everyone scream yea , and then he asked to finished this line la di , da di , and alot of people didn't know the song. It made feel like Damn what happened to Hip Hop!!! Overall it was a great show. Oh yeah Obie Trice is a real nigga , that nigga hung out right next to me during the show till it got close to Eminem set. |

| GIVE PROPS QUICK MSG a d ![]() $237 | Rep: 177401 | I didn't go, but the shit got pretty bad reviews here in Dallas: ------------ http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcont....1d6e8bcf.html Review: Disappointment, not Anger, Management Eminem, 50 Cent muddle through much-hyped tour gig 12:33 AM CDT on Friday, July 29, 2005 By THOR CHRISTENSEN / The Dallas Morning News With reserved seats priced at up to $91, Anger Management 3 is one of the most expensive rap tours ever. Too bad you don't get more bang for your buck. Thursday night's show at Smirnoff Music Centre was marred by sound problems during Eminem's show and a lackluster performance by the year's hottest-selling act, 50 Cent. True, there was plenty of literal bang in the form of fireworks: Between Em and Fiddy, there was more pyro than a Kiss concert. But this much-ballyhooed pairing of rap's two biggest stars was mostly a dud. Only 12,500 people turned out at the 20,000-capacity Smirnoff – and many of those got in free in a two-for-one ticket offer. Eminem is usually a captivating showman, but he spent most of his set battling a faulty microphone. The trouble started in the opening song, "Evil Deeds"; Em rapped up a storm, but his words were only half-audible. "I can't barely hear myself," he said between songs. But, alas, he ignored the problem and kept on rapping. The problem grew even more noticeable as he traded verses with his pals in D-12. Their voices came through loud and clear, but Slim Shady's seemed to get weaker by the moment. Deadlines made it impossible to see the entire show, but by the time Eminem got to "Stan" an hour into the set, he sounded like he was rapping from another county. Faulty mikes are nothing new at rock and rap shows, but usually the crew fixes the problem in a matter of seconds or minutes. Thursday night, the sound guys must have been drunk, asleep or dead. 50 Cent's hourlong set wasn't much better as it devolved into a game of "Where's Fiddy?": Every time he began to build steam, he'd leave the stage and give the spotlight to his G-Unit team – Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks, Olivia, Mobb Deep and Young Buck, who screamed at the audience, "How many y'all got MY [expletive] album?" Buck's an adequate rapper, but let's face it: Fans came see Fiddy, not to hear his protégés push their CDs. Even when 50 was onstage, he hid behind his crew part of the time like some stage-shy rookie. Near the end of his set, the crowd's energy level dropped so low that 50 complained. "Stop the music," he said after about 20 seconds of his big hit, "In Da Club." "Y'all tired?" The crowd offered a half- hearted "No," which only seemed to make 50 more annoyed. "How much time we got left?" he asked one of the roadies. Two minutes later, he was gone. Set over. Atlanta crunk master Lil' Jon preceded 50 Cent with a high-energy set complete with gratuitous towel waving and ear-splitting bass. More notable than his rapping (or the cameos by Pit Bull and Lil Scrappy) was the stage backdrop: a hilarious 15-by-20-foot Lil' Jon bobblehead that grinned and nodded just like the real deal. If he's smart, he'll have the mini Lil' Jon in stores by Christmas. ----------------- |
